Warranty Information

1. Limited Warranty Coverage

Knobbles warrants that our products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase ("Warranty Period").

This limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the Knobbles product and is not transferable to anyone who obtains ownership of the product from the original purchaser.

2. What This Warranty Covers

Our warranty covers defects in manufacturing and materials including:

  • Electronic components and circuitry

3. What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage resulting from improper installation
  • Damage from accidents, misuse, or abuse
  • Damage from improper maintenance or unauthorized modifications
  • Damage from power surges or electrical issues
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic damage, including scratches, dents, and broken plastic
  • Damage resulting from unsupervised interaction with the product (adult supervision is recommended for interactive sessions involving children)
  • Issues with non-Knobbles accessories used with the product
  • Damage resulting from use with non-compatible devices
  • Products where the factory serial number has been altered or removed

4. Professional Installation Requirement

Knobbles products require professional installation by a qualified electrician. Failure to have the product professionally installed will void this warranty. Please retain documentation of professional installation for warranty purposes.

5. How to Obtain Warranty Service

To make a warranty claim:

  1. Contact our customer service team at support@knobbles.io with your order details and a description of the issue
  2. Include photos or videos of the problem when possible
  3. Provide proof of purchase and professional installation
  4. Our team will evaluate your claim and provide next steps

If your claim is approved, we may:

  • Send replacement parts with installation instructions
  • Arrange for on-site service (within certain geographic areas)
  • Provide a return authorization for product repair/replacement

6. Individual Knob Replacement

Knobbles features a modular design where individual knobs can be replaced if they become damaged or fail. During the warranty period, individual knob replacements for defective units are covered under this warranty.

After the warranty period, individual knobs can be purchased separately for replacement. Please contact customer service for current pricing and availability.

7. Shipping Costs for Warranty Service

For valid warranty claims, Knobbles will cover shipping costs for both sending replacement parts and returning defective products (if necessary). If a warranty claim is determined to be invalid, shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED WARRANTY EXPRESSLY SET FORTH ABOVE, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KNOBBLES PROVIDES THE PRODUCT "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," AND HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

KNOBBLES DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PRODUCT WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, ACHIEVE ANY INTENDED RESULTS, BE COMPATIBLE OR WORK WITH ANY OTHER SOFTWARE, APPLICATIONS, SYSTEMS OR SERVICES, OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION, MEET ANY PERFORMANCE OR RELIABILITY STANDARDS, BE ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY ERRORS OR DEFECTS CAN OR WILL BE CORRECTED. NO ORAL OR WRITTEN INFORMATION OR ADVICE GIVEN BY KNOBBLES OR ITS AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVES SHALL CREATE A WARRANTY.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so some or all of the above exclusions and limitations may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, the liability of Knobbles will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL KNOBBLES, ITS SUPPLIERS, OFFICERS, AFFILIATES, REPRESENTATIVES, CONTRACTORS AND EMPLOYEES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR: LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, PERSONAL INJURY, LOSS OF PRIVACY, NEGLIGENCE, PROPERTY DAMAGE, AND ANY OTHER PECUNIARY OR OTHER LOSS WHATSOEVER) ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY RELATED TO THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT, EVEN IF KNOBBLES OR ANY SUPPLIER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES AND EVEN IF THE REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.

KNOBBLES' TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE, REGARDLESS OF FORM OF ACTION, SHALL IN NO EVENT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO KNOBBLES FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT FROM WHICH LIABILITY AROSE, OR $500 USD, WHICHEVER IS LESS.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This limitation of liability shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by law in the applicable jurisdiction.

10. Assumption of Risk and Indemnification

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT THE USE OF THE PRODUCT INVOLVES INHERENT RISKS, INCLUDING RISK OF PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, OR DEATH. BY PURCHASING AND USING THE PRODUCT, YOU KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, BOTH KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF KNOBBLES OR OTHERS, AND ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR USE OF THE PRODUCT.

YOU AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, AND HOLD HARMLESS KNOBBLES AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, SUCCESSORS, AND ASSIGNS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL LOSSES, DAMAGES, LIABILITIES, DEFICIENCIES, ACTIONS, JUDGMENTS, SETTLEMENTS, INTEREST, AWARDS, PENALTIES, FINES, COSTS OR EXPENSES OF WHATEVER KIND, INCLUDING REASONABLE ATTORNEYS' FEES, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OR MISUSE OF THE PRODUCT, YOUR FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH ANY APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS, OR YOUR BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

THIS WARRANTY AND ANY CLAIMS, DISPUTES, OR CONTROVERSIES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE GOVERNED BY AND CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA, WITHOUT GIVING EFFECT TO ANY CHOICE OR CONFLICT OF LAW PROVISION OR RULE. THE UNITED NATIONS CONVENTION ON CONTRACTS FOR THE INTERNATIONAL SALE OF GOODS SHALL NOT APPLY.

ANY DISPUTE, CONTROVERSY, OR CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS WARRANTY OR THE BREACH, TERMINATION, ENFORCEMENT, INTERPRETATION, OR VALIDITY THEREOF, SHALL BE SUBMITTED FIRST TO MEDIATION IN RICHMOND, VIRGINIA. IF SUCH DISPUTE IS NOT RESOLVED THROUGH MEDIATION, IT SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO FINAL AND BINDING ARBITRATION. THE ARBITRATION SHALL BE ADMINISTERED BY JAMS PURSUANT TO ITS COMPREHENSIVE ARBITRATION RULES AND PROCEDURES. JUDGMENT ON THE AWARD RENDERED BY THE ARBITRATOR(S) MAY BE ENTERED IN ANY COURT HAVING JURISDICTION THEREOF.

ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS WARRANTY MUST BE FILED WITHIN ONE YEAR AFTER SUCH CLAIM AROSE; OTHERWISE, THE CLAIM IS PERMANENTLY BARRED.

12. Class Action Waiver

YOU AGREE THAT ANY PROCEEDINGS TO RESOLVE OR LITIGATE ANY DISPUTE, WHETHER IN ARBITRATION, IN COURT, OR OTHERWISE, WILL BE CONDUCTED SOLELY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS, AND THAT YOU WILL NOT SEEK TO HAVE ANY DISPUTE HEARD AS A CLASS ACTION, A REPRESENTATIVE ACTION, A COLLECTIVE ACTION, A PRIVATE ATTORNEY-GENERAL ACTION, OR IN ANY PROCEEDING IN WHICH YOU ACT OR PROPOSE TO ACT IN A REPRESENTATIVE CAPACITY. YOU FURTHER AGREE THAT NO ARBITRATION OR PROCEEDING WILL BE JOINED, CONSOLIDATED, OR COMBINED WITH ANOTHER ARBITRATION OR PROCEEDING WITHOUT THE PRIOR WRITTEN CONSENT OF KNOBBLES AND ALL PARTIES TO ANY SUCH ARBITRATION OR PROCEEDING.

13. Severability

IF ANY PROVISION OF THIS WARRANTY IS HELD TO BE UNENFORCEABLE OR INVALID, SUCH PROVISION WILL BE CHANGED AND INTERPRETED TO ACCOMPLISH THE OBJECTIVES OF SUCH PROVISION TO THE GREATEST EXTENT POSSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW AND THE REMAINING PROVISIONS WILL CONTINUE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT.
