Returns Policy

1. Made-to-Order Product Policy

Knobbles are made-to-order products that are manufactured when you place your order. While they are not completely custom, they are produced specifically for each customer, which is why we have a limited return policy.

All sales of non-standard configurations are final once production has begun. Standard 10x10 configurations may be eligible for returns under specific circumstances as outlined below.

2. Returnable Products

The following products may be eligible for return:

  • Classic, Classic Mini, or Dotline in unopened boxes that have not been installed
  • Unopened accessory products (controllers, replacement knobs, etc.)
  • Defective products (covered under our warranty policy)

3. Return Timeframe

For eligible products, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery. After this period, returns will not be accepted unless there is a defect covered by our warranty.

4. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact us at support@knobbles.io with your order number and reason for return
  2. Our team will review your request and provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) if approved
  3. Package the product in its original packaging or equivalent protective packaging
  4. Include the RMA number on the outside of the package
  5. Ship the product to the address provided in the RMA instructions

Please note that products must be returned in their original condition, unused, uninstalled, and with all original packaging and accessories.

5. Return Shipping Costs

For returns due to defects or errors on our part, Knobbles will cover the return shipping costs. For all other approved returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Due to the size and nature of our products, return shipping can be expensive. We recommend obtaining a shipping quote before finalizing your return.

6. Inspection and Refund Process

Once we receive your returned product:

  1. We will inspect the item to ensure it is in its original condition
  2. If the return is approved, a refund will be processed for the purchase price
  3. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase
  4. Refunds typically take 5-10 business days to process, depending on your financial institution

7. Restocking Fee

For either Classic, Classic Mini, or Dotline configurations in unopened boxes that are returned for reasons other than defects or errors on our part, a 15% restocking fee may apply. Non-standard configurations are not eligible for returns except in cases of defects covered by warranty or at the discretion of Knobbles.

8. Damaged Products

If your product arrives damaged:

  1. Document the damage with photos before accepting the delivery if possible
  2. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@knobbles.io
  3. Include your order number and photos of the damage
  4. We will work with you to resolve the issue through repair, replacement, or refund

9. Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled without penalty before production begins. Once production has started, the following cancellation fees may apply:

  • Classic, Classic Mini, or Dotline configurations: 25% of order total
  • Non-standard configurations: 50% of order total

To cancel an order, please email support@knobbles.io and include your order number from the confirmation email or the Order Confirmation page. Our team will respond with confirmation of your cancellation request and any applicable fees.

After the product has shipped, our return policy applies instead of the cancellation policy.

10. Exchanges

Due to the made-to-order nature of our products, we do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange a product, you will need to:

  1. Request a return following our standard return process
  2. Place a new order for the desired product

11. Promotional Items and Gifts

Promotional items, gifts, or free items included with your purchase are not eligible for return unless they are defective. If you return a product that came with promotional items, you must return the promotional items as well, or their value may be deducted from your refund.

12. Discretionary Exceptions

Knobbles reserves the right to make exceptions to this return policy at its sole discretion. In exceptional circumstances, Knobbles may approve returns or provide refunds outside the standard policy guidelines on a case-by-case basis. However, such exceptions should not be expected and do not constitute a change or waiver of this policy for future transactions.
